Summer Camp Overview
Sponsored by the Harford County Government, "Ready, Set, Pro!" is a 5-week summer experience designed to introduce young men (ages 7–15) to the world of careers, industries, and professional skills in a fun, structured, and impactful environment.
Taking place July 6th – August 5th (Mondays–Wednesdays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM) at Rooted Bible Fellowship Church in Edgewood, MD, this free camp provides students with breakfast, lunch, field trips, and hands-on learning experiences that go beyond a traditional summer program.
Each week, campers are exposed to different industries through interactive sessions led by real professionals, giving them the opportunity to explore fields such as healthcare, construction, culinary arts, technology, and more. Through engaging activities and small group rotations, students don’t just learn about careers—they begin to see themselves in them.
At the core of the camp is WillPower’s commitment to developing young men through confidence-building, leadership development, and character growth, guided by our P.O.W.E.R. values: Purpose, Ownership, Wisdom, Excellence, and Resilience.
